Carol Lourie has dedicated more than 20 years to helping women reduce the risk of recurrence, restore their health, and feel like themselves again after a breast cancer diagnosis.
A Naturopath, Licensed Acupuncturist, Chinese Medicine practitioner, and Homeopath, Carol has been in clinical practice for more than 40 years. Her professional journey took a profound turn after accompanying one of her closest friends through an 18-month experience with breast cancer.
Witnessing firsthand how integrative care had the ability to influence both treatment and recovery inspired her to devote her practice exclusively to women facing this disease.
As her practice grew, Carol realized that the need extended far beyond what could be accomplished during office visits. Women wanted reliable information, practical guidance, and ongoing support to help them understand their diagnosis, navigate treatment decisions, reduce side effects, and take an active role in their health.
To meet that need, Carol created Empowered Against Recurrence – a live online coaching and education program that provides women around the world with practical, evidence-based strategies to support their health during and after breast cancer treatment.
Today, through her educational programs, concierge consultations, speaking engagements, and extensive online resources, Carol helps women better understand the biology behind their diagnosis, improve their internal terrain, reduce the risk of recurrence, and make informed decisions alongside their oncology team.
