Chicken Sausage with Summer Vegetables

Chicken sausage with summer vegetables is a delicious, easy-to-prepare meal, perfect for when you don't want to spend hours in the kitchen. Packed with vibrant flavors, it's sure to be a hit with the entire family! Plus, it makes fantastic leftovers, ensuring a tasty and hassle-free lunch the next day.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz [454.4 g] Ground Chicken

  • 1 dash [0.1 g] Black Pepper

  • 1 Dash [1 g] Himalayan Pink Salt

  • 1 tsp [2.1 g] Paprika

  • 1 tsp [1.8 g] Red Pepper Flakes

  • 0.5 tsp [0.35 g] Sage (Ground)

  • 1 tsp [2.8 g] Garlic Powder

  • 1 bundle [100 g] Asparagus (chopped)

  • 1 medium [196 g] Yellow Summer Squash (chopped)

  • 1 medium [196 g] Zucchini (chopped)

  • 1 tbsp [14 g] Avocado Oil

  • 1 tbsp [14.8 g] Water (optional - to prevent vegetables from

    sticking to the pan)


Directions

  1. Add the seasonings to the chicken and mix well. Let

    the mixture marinate for a minimum of 30 minutes

    (preferably overnight.)

  2. Heat a pan with avocado oil on medium high heat.

  3. Form ground chicken into patties (about 6).

  4. Add patties to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes on

    each side , until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).

  5. Remove patties from heat and add the asparagus, squash, zucchini and water to the pan.

  6. Cook for about 10-15 minutes until vegetables are cooked to desired likeness. Serve warm with the
